Position Description

As a Sr. QA/Huddle Leader, you will lead a software testing team, provide coaching, and work with the client to ensure needs are captured, organized and executed. Our business thrives from highly motivated people who are genuine and share a common value system of using our business as a force for good. As the Sr. QA/Huddle Leader, you will:

  • Provide coaching and leadership to a huddle of 2-3 junior software testers
  • Lead the design and execution of functional, UI and regression test suites based on client requirements
  • Deliver solutions to complex test design and execution needs
  • Design quality assurance processes to satisfy project needs and timelines
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders
  • Establish a strong relationships with the client’s project team and stakeholders
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices

Required Skills

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Software Testing Methodology
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Application Development Life Cycle
  • 3+ years software testing experience – focus on manual testing
  • 1+ years in SQL, data validation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong requirements analysis skills
  • Demonstrate experience writing test cases and test plans
  • Demonstrate experience with 1 or more QA tools – HP Quality Center, QSP, Jira, or other
  • Strong interest in mentoring others

Ideal Skills

  • Previous consulting experience

Position Description

As a Sr. Data Analyst / Huddle Lead you will lead a team on projects that support our clients’ needs to identify and resolve data quality problems. Our business thrives from highly motivated people who are genuine and share a common value system of using our business as a force for good. As Senior Data Analyst / Huddle Lead, you will:

  • Resolve data quality problems
    Activities include: Identify, assess, fix, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used. This may involve interacting with business users to resolve data quality problems using techniques such as root cause analysis as well as collecting user requirements. Fixing the data problem may require the DQA to recommend, design, implement and monitor quality procedures for use in the data process. It may also include data cleansing operations.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight of data flows and stores
    Activities include: Review quality of data entry, loads, transformations, extractions, merges, or other production jobs. This may also include the establishment and monitoring of service level agreements, communication protocols with data suppliers, and data quality assurance policies.
  • Provide data quality advisory services to the organization
    Activities include: Participate in cross-functional teams and development or improvement task forces. Assist other groups in database setup, design of edit checks, test plans, DQ policy decisions, etc. to ensure data quality objectives are met.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to a huddle of 1-3 junior analysts who will work alongside you to complete the project as a team and delight our clients. Activities include coaching and leadership to: ensure the team is always working on the highest priority work, ensure the team is collaborating closely with our customers and understands their requirements, remove impediments to success, and ensure the team is consistently delivering to the standards the client expects.
  • Other activities to support client and team needs, which may include data metrics, documentation, training, project management, process improvement, client relationship management, and other activities to provide a successful project and team outcome.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years data quality, data warehousing and/or ETL experience.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to multi-task, work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Leadership experience of 1-3 people, with a strong interest in continuing to mentor others.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency of SQL, data-oriented quality improvement principles, and a working knowledge of data warehouse design practices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in defining and supporting data quality assurance measures and controls, including data analysis, validation, verification, profiling, and cleansing.
  • Experience working in complex data environments using relational database system tools.
